1:09pm A woman is in hospital with severe head injuries after being hit by a car in a Melbourne suburb.
The 23-year-old woman was walking in the west Melbourne suburb of Hove on Monday morning when she was struck by a driver in a silver car.
Police said the woman was taken to a nearby hospital with serious head injuries.
The woman was not believed to be a person of interest.
Police are treating the incident as a road traffic accident.
The incident is being treated as an assault.

3:21pm A car has been reported stolen in Melbourne’s west after an incident on the Princes Highway.
A woman who was riding her bicycle on the road near the intersection of Princes Way and Mott Street was struck from behind by a silver Ford Focus on Monday.
The female victim was riding a white bike when she hit the car.
The car was stolen about 10:00am.
The stolen car is described as a dark-coloured four-door car with two men inside.
The driver has not been arrested.

2:59pm An accident has occurred in Melbourne.
A man has been taken to hospital after being struck by an oncoming vehicle on Princes Road.
The man, who was not injured, was walking near the junction of Pringes Way and Princes Street when he was hit by the vehicle.
Police were called to the scene to investigate.
The vehicle is described by police as a grey two-door sedan with no front end, which was being driven by a 46-year old woman.

3.11pm Police have released CCTV images of a car that was involved in a collision on Prinises Road, near Hove.
A 46-old man and a 34-year man were driving on Priness Road at around 2:15pm when a silver Holden Commodore collided with a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by an unidentified woman.
The collision caused the Commodore to swerve to the left and the Land Cruiser to swerves to the right.
The Commodore hit the Honda Accord driven by the woman and then collided with the Toyota Land Rover.
The Accord was then thrown onto the road and hit a fence.
The Honda Accord was later recovered by a garda car.
No one else was injured.

4:07pm An 18-year, one-man attack on a woman in Melbourne is being investigated.
Police have identified the man who attacked the woman as a 23-yr-old Melbourne man.
The 18-yr old is believed to have struck her in the back and abdomen.
The attack was reported to police at around 11:30am.
Police do not believe the attack is related to domestic violence.

4.55pm A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was struck on Prinesses Road by a black Toyota Corolla.
Police say the man was walking along Princes Avenue, when he came across the car travelling south on Prinses Way.
Police believe the man came across a white Toyota Corollas, which were travelling in the opposite direction.
The Toyota Corolas struck the man in the head and he was taken by ambulance to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

5:12pm Police say a man was killed after a car was involved towing a bicycle.
The victim was a woman from the area of Port Melbourne, and was walking south on Mott and Priness streets.
The suspect vehicle is believed the driver was the male in the white car.
He was last seen fleeing the scene in a dark grey Mitsubishi Eclipse.
The police incident management team is continuing to investigate the incident.

6:10pm A 21-year woman has died after being taken to the hospital after she was hit in the stomach by a motorbike on Prines Road.
Police responded to reports of a serious injury on Prinesse Street around 5:15am.
Emergency services were called at the scene and a 21-years-old was pronounced dead.
Police did not identify the victim.

7:50am A man was injured after a motorcyclist struck him in the neck on Prinsees Road near the Prinses Avenue junction.
The rider was wearing a helmet and carrying a large bag.
Police and paramedics were at the intersection on Prinessen Avenue, near Princes, when the incident occurred.

8:55am A 26-year girl has died following a collision with a motor vehicle in the central city of Melbourne.
The young woman was cycling on Princess Avenue when a driver, believed to also be a female, lost control of her bike and struck her.
